I didn’t have time this week to attend MAX in New Orleans, but tomorrow I’ll be on my way to MAX Taiwan. I’ll be giving two sessions, one on “Skinning Flash MX 2004 Components”, the other on “Flash MX 2004 Component Development Using the Version 2 Architecture”. There are some excellent Flash related sessions lined up, and a good list of speakers.
If anyone has suggestions on what to see/do in Taipei let me know, this will be my first time in Taiwan
Colin Moock has posted a video from macromedia flash conference in tokyo thats a must see.
The new player is looking very very good. Personally 8Ball (next version of Flash) is exciting but the real excitement is the player. It looks like macromedia has been working really hard to keep us all happy 
This has been a long time coming, BLDoc 1.0 beta is now available to the public. It has gone through a long alpha period and thanks to excellent feedback from testers we are happy to make it available today.

Microsoft recently aquired Lookout, a company who’s search plug-in for Outlook I can’t recommend enough. After purchasing Lookout, Microsoft initially shut down sales of the product, but recently has released the plug-in for free, so if you use Outlook make sure to grab the plug-in. I can’t imagine using Outlook without it anymore.

Sapien has just posted the latest version of PrimalScript which adds support for the changes in file/folder locations in Flash 7.2 and support for multiple AS Class and Help Paths. On another note, some people may not know, but PrimalScrpit also support editing of MXML Files.
