A little update. I wonÂ’t be speaking at MXDU as originally planned. I was really looking forward to it but my visa has yet to arrive from the Australian Embassy. Geoff has been really understanding about it and will have some contingency plans in place. Maybe IÂ’ll make it next year, and Peter take lots of pics!
Um, doesn’t Australia do electronic visas? You just provide your passport number and it is all electronic. Or should be. I’ve been to Australia on both my UK and USA passports, and used electronic visas for both. Or so I thought.
Ben: It’s only electronic if you have a passport from one of these countries http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ETAAus1En.html. I guess this gives me a reason to finally submit my application for U.S. Citizenship.
